About the Hub
The Outer Hebrides Community Planning Partnership hosts the multi-agency steering group which oversee the work of the Outer Hebrides Autism Strategy.
Membership of this group includes people living with autism, representatives from Social Services, Education, Housing, Local Area Co-ordination, NHS Western Isles, Employment Support, Police, Advocacy and Third Sector organisations.
The Outer Hebrides Autism Strategy and Action Plan was approved by the OHCPP in December 2013 and then submitted to Scottish Government. The key themes of the action plan are Strategic Leadership, Best Value for Services, Collaboration and Involvement, Cross Agency Working, Diagnosis, Intervention and Support and finally, Wider Opportunities and Work.
The steering group reports to the Outer Hebrides Community Planning Partnership as well as to Directors and Chief Officers of the respective agencies and services involved.
